Rob the Bank is a hymn for the rednecks, the gopniks and the low-lives, for those who have nothing left to lose and who are not afraid to go out there with only their courage and a rusty shotgun to fight back the tyranny of capitalism, the banks and the obscenely rich.
To bring back balance and justice, and regain the freedom that has been taken away from them by a society that values profits over lives.
It's dark and fatalistic, but also a little bit sexy, a little bit sleazy, angry and smooth all at the same time.
It is a metaphor for the frustrated 2am conversations with your friends about the state of the world, for the drunk middle-aged men hyping each other up in the sports bar about taking down the speed camera that gave them yet another fine, for the kids who already sell cigarettes after school and have very little chance to make it in a classist society, being neither rich nor very smart.
It's a song for the miserable, the hopeless, the angry and the abandoned.
Alone we are nothing.
Together we fight.
Rob the Bank.

Saw Kanga last night in Houston , instantly was entranced by her sound , sucked me into the Kangakult vortex , so glad I got to see her live , should have looked into her sooner as Gary Numan was so supportive of her on the Revolution tour , oh now it’s time to catch up and get further involved Callum Gray
